Marple: The pale Horse (2010) / Paul Osborne
The adaption of Agatha Christie's novel The pale Horse, will be the 4th film in the 5th series of ITV's succesful series Agatha Christie's Marple.
A dying woman makes her confession to a Catholic priest; a confession that includes names linked to a terrible secret. Before the priest takes action on this information, he is murdered. JJ Feild will play Paul Osborne, who is an important witness to the murder.

Pure Mule (2009) / Tom
JJ Feild will appear as Tom in the two-part special of Pure Mule "The last weekend".
Scobie (Garrett Lombard), once a skilled labourer, is now a security guard on an abandoned building site. With no real employment prospects, he's already booked on a flight to Australia to join his brother and hopefully start a new life. The weekend Scobie is due to depart, Jennifer (Charlene McKenna) suddenly returns to the town after a four year absence in England, to bury her mother. Jennifer has brought her boyfriend of two years Tom (JJ Feild), the Englishman who helped her get her act together after some dark times in London. Scobie's doubts about leaving grow.
Pure Mule has been aired on September, 6th and 7th 2009 on RTE 1. The DVD has been released in November 2009 and is available via the Element Pictures Shop or the RTE Shop!

The Shadow in the North (2007) / Frederick Garland
The Shadow in the North is the second book adaption of Philp Pullman´s Sally Lockhart Mysteries series. JJ Feild plays once more the handsome photographic artiste und private investigator Frederick Garland who helps Sally Lockhart with her investigations against industrialist Alex Bellman, which finally brings them all in a great danger of life.

Northanger Abbey (2007) / Henry Tilney
Naive 18 year old Catherine Morland is invited to spend the summer with childless couple Mr. and Mrs. Allen in Bath. There she makes the aquaintance of the charming and gently cynical Henry Tilney (JJ Feild), his sister Eleanor as well as brother and sister John and Isabella Thorpe.
Besides long walks with the Tilneys Catherine loves to spend her time with one thing: reading - her favourite books are wild-romatic gothic novels, whose stories haunt her even in her dreams.
Being invited to Northanger Abbey (as supposed-to-be heiress of wealthy Mr. Allen) by General Tilney (Henrys and Eleanors strict and only focused on money father) Catherine enjoys the time.
Henry exalts Catherine's imagination with spooky stories and so one day she suspects General Tilney to be the murderer of his wife.
After being confronted by Henry with her stupid thoughts he rides away. When Catherine is sent home to her parents house short after her dispute with Henry it seems as a punishment for her suspicion.
Will there be a reconciliation of the lovers when she finally meets Henry again?
The adaption of Jane Austen's first novel was released in March 2007 as part of the Jane Austen series on British TV channel ITV. Meanwhile Northanger Abbeyhas been aired in Australia, Canada and the USA.

The Ruby in the Smoke (2006) / Frederick Garland
After her father´s death, Sally Lockhart (Billie Piper) receives a mysterious letter. At her investigations she comes across strange events. She doesn't suspect, that the corrupt and ruthless Mrs. Holland is a very dangerous enemy to her. The only thing she knows is, that a precious ruby plays an important role.

The secret life of Mrs. Beeton (2006) / Sam Beeton
The 2006 BBC 4 movie, tells the life story of Isabella Beeton (1836-1865).
1856: Isabella (Anna Madeley) marries publisher Samuel Beeton (JJ Feild) and slowly starts to work for him. 1861 the popular Beeton's Book of Household Management is finally released.
Next to her work the marriage life of the Beetons is in the focus of the movie, characterized by the loss of children and the finaciall struggle of Sam Beeton. 1865 Isabella Beeton dies of childbed fever.

In 1812 Edmund Talbot (Benedict Cumberbatch) is travelling on board of a decrepit wooden warship to Australia to take up a Governments post,secured for him by a rich and influential godfather.
Most of the movie is playing on the open sea and tells the story of Edward and the other passengers, living together on confies room for a long time.
The trilogy To the ends of the Earth is the adaption of the same-named trilogy by William Golding. Next to Sam Neill und Charles Dance JJ Feild plays the often drunken Lieutenant Deverel.

Poirot - Death on the Nile (2004) / Simon Doyle
In 2004 the new adaption of Agatha Christie´s classic novel Death on the Nile was aired in the 5th season of ITV's popular "Agatha Christie's Poirot", with David Suchet as Hercule Poirot.
JJ Feild plays the role of Simon Doyle, leaving his fiancé Jacqueline de Bellefort (Emma Malin) to marry an old school friend of Jacqueline, rich American Linnet Ridgeway (Emily Blunt). Three month later the couple meets the abandonee, longing for revenge, on their honeymoon, a cruise on the Nile. One evening the situation escalates. Jacqueline pulls a pistole and shoots Simon into his leg. The next morning Linnet Doyle is found shot dead in her bed.

Waking the Dead (2004) / Adam Western (1 Episode)
Unsolved murder cases are re-opened by a crack squad of investigators in a bid to flush out the killer, and lay old files to rest. Starring Trevor Eve and Sue Johnston. The case of an ex-soldier murdered in 1948 is re-opened, due to media attention and pressure from the dead man's grandson Adam Western (JJ Feild). Then the killer strikes again, and the team discovers another linked murder, this time from the 1960s.

The Railway Children (2000) / Jim
Edith Nesbit´s classic book tells the story of Roberta, Peter and Phyllis, moving with their mother near a railway line, when their father is wrongfully imprisoned because of spying. In this adaption JJ Feild plays one of his first roles. He plays Jim, a boy who is found injured by the Railway children next to the railway line.
The film was shot in october 1999 and was aired on ITV in 2000.
